Annual Road Race

On Sunday, January 19, 2025, Colombo South International College (CSIC) hosted its annual Road Race at the college premises in Kohuwala, Nugegoda. The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 50 students representing the school’s three houses: Pluto, Jupiter, and Venus.

The Road Race is a highlight in CSIC’s sporting calendar, fostering camaraderie and healthy competition among students. Participants trained rigorously in the weeks leading up to the event, demonstrating dedication and school spirit.

The race commenced at 7:00 AM, with students navigating a course mapped around the college vicinity. Spectators, including parents, teachers, and fellow students, lined the route to cheer on the runners.

The Principal of CSIC, Mr. B. A. Abeyrathna, commended all participants for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship. He emphasized the importance of such events in promoting physical fitness and unity among students.
