Colombo South International College: A Legacy of Excellence

The Montessori Division of Colombo South International College (CSI) commenced operations in 1989 with a steadfast commitment to achieving the noble objectives outlined in its mission statement. This mission proclaims:

“Provision of a disciplined, cultured younger generation with respect for human values to face the challenges of the 21st Century and beyond.”

As the 6th international college registered in Sri Lanka, CSI has established itself as a distinguished educational institution. Conveniently located at No. 43, S de S Jayasinghe Mawatha, Kohuwala, Nugegoda, the college continues to be a beacon of quality education in the nation.

Facilities and Infrastructure
The Montessori Division is housed in a purpose-built, five-story building situated at No. 1, Anderson Road, Dehiwala, a suburb of the metropolitan city. This facility is designed to support all aspects of Montessori education and includes well-equipped Montessori units, a children’s playground, and a spacious auditorium.

The primary and secondary divisions are located in another five-story building directly opposite the Montessori facility. This building offers state-of-the-art amenities that provide a conducive environment for holistic education.

Expansion and Growth
To further its mission of providing quality education, CSI has opened a branch in Kottawa, and construction for a new branch in Panadura is underway. These expansions reflect the school’s dedication to meeting the growing demand for premier educational services.
