CLASSROOMS
At CISC, we place great emphasis on creating an enriching and supportive learning environment for all our students. Each classroom is carefully designed to provide an optimum setting that meets the unique needs of diverse learners, fostering engagement, focus, and academic success. We integrate multimedia resources, modern technology, and interactive tools into our classrooms to enhance the educational experience, making learning dynamic and accessible. By prioritizing a well-equipped and adaptive learning space, we aim to inspire curiosity, encourage participation, and support each student’s journey toward academic excellence.
LIBRARY
We take great pride in our senior school library, recognized as one of the finest in the region for its exceptional resources. Along with an extensive collection of books, it offers a vast selection of reference materials, subject-specific guides, and publications designed to support educational advancement and inspire lifelong learning. Our library serves as a hub of knowledge, providing students with valuable tools to enhance their academic journey and foster a deep appreciation for reading and research.
COMPUTER LABORATORIES
Two computer laboratories with contemporary computers, multimedia features, and Internet connectivity are available to students in the upper school. Our students are encouraged to use the computer facilities as frequently as their schedules would allow, aside from the computer sessions that are specifically listed in the curriculum. To ensure that the facilities are used properly and carefully, a teacher is always on hand to offer assistance and direction. Such facilities are also available in the primary division for use during computer classes.
SCIENCE LABORATORIES
The Secondary School contains specialized science labs for biology, chemistry and physics that are completely furnished and equipped. Subject teachers closely monitor students at all times when they use the lab equipment, helped by lab personnel.
SPORTS
Sports participation is strongly encouraged for all pupils on a regular basis. The Sports Department is made up of well experienced trainers in a variety of sports, including netball, soccer, swimming, table tennis as well as athletics, badminton, karate, basketball and cricket. At CISC we value diversity and give our students the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports.
SMART CLASSROOMS
At CSIC we have two well equipped smart classrooms. A smart classroom is an EdTech-upgraded classroom that uses audio, video, animations, pictures, and other multimedia to improve teaching and learning for both teachers and students. This raises the level of involvement and influences student performance. Our well trained and qualified teachers always use the modern facilities in order to uplift the standard of the students
AUDIO VISUAL ROOM
At CSIC, the audio-visual room is a location where students from all subjects engage in productive learning. The method that engages the senses the greatest is audio-visual. It leaves a deeper impact as it involves greater attention in the act of learning and helps the child to retain the concepts taught through these aids.
i-Tech Studio
Main idea behind this is to encourage our young minds towards Innovation and Creativity. Students can experiment with new ideas, design projects, and solve real-world problems with PC Hardware and Network Equipment. Our young minds always get hands-on experience with technology aligns with the skills required in STEM-related careers. Familiarity with programming, engineering, and design tools helps students remain competitive in the workforce. It also emphasizes practical applications of classroom knowledge. Skills like troubleshooting, project management, and technical proficiency are developed in a controlled environment.
