Kids at CSI AMI Montessori Kottawa Branch Host “Singithi Pola” Event to Learn Practical Money Skills

The young learners at CSI AMI Montessori Kottawa Branch recently organized an exciting and educational event called “Singithi Pola” (Little Market) at their branch premises. This hands-on activity was designed as an extension of their math curriculum, allowing the children to explore the practical aspects of using and handling money in a fun and engaging way.

During the event, the children set up their own mini-market stalls, complete with items for “sale.” They took on roles as both buyers and sellers, practicing how to count money, give correct change, and manage transactions. This interactive experience not only reinforced their classroom learning but also helped them develop essential life skills such as financial literacy, communication, and teamwork.
